In year 2 you explore the scientific basis of tackling important diseases and how current and emerging technologies can enhance disease diagnosis, treatment and its wider impact on society. Key basic and clinical research theory and practical skills are also explored. This includes key concepts of research best practice and examples of research-led medical innovations within various healthcare environments.
